Need some basic stats to help effectively. Training experience and current program. Diet and cutting goals-whatever you can give us will help.

Im 6', 250lbs, at about 23% bodyfat. Right now Im not lifting at all Im just doing about an hour of cardio five days a week. My nutrition is ok, nothing fancy just sticking to greens and protein, got some carbs in too. I dont even know what to do/how to begin lol. As far as goals, right now Im just looking to cut down my bodyfat a lot

Bodyfat is pretty high, so it's a good idea for you to cut. I like lifting heavy with lower repetitions during a cut, mostly to retain muscle. High-protein and essential fats. Reducing carbs does work for weight loss. Check in with Built in the diet section; she has some excellent suggestions for folks in your situation, and has a great deal of experience with diet. In my opinion, it is all about putting together the right diet for you, supplements can come later.

just like mdr said but i would do cardio 7 days a wk being your bf is so high. then do higher reps with high intensity with moderate weight. no disrespect to mdr as hes a great knowledgable guy here. just my 2 cents. but everybody is different so wat works for one dont work for everybody. and one thing dont think about gear until ur bf comes way down or youll blow right up. just get down to 12-15 % before thinking of that stuff.

I agree unclem-good to get more than one opinion. Just because something works for one of us does not mean it will work for everyone. By the
way, thanks for the compliment. Always enjoy your posts. You have a ton of knowledge to share. Props to you for being such a good guy.

By the way, good for you ska 18 for taking the initiative and checking out some info on your own. There is a remarkable amount of good stuff to be found on this site-welcome!
