Short thoughts on a few supplements I am currently taking

Hey folks. Tried some new supplements this month, and wanted to give my thoughts on them.

I tried 2 new brands of protein. One I ordered from bodybuilding.com just to try it, the other was bought in a rush at GNC because I needed some and was leaving shore for 3 weeks.

    Dymatize Iso 100, Pina Colada

I ordered a small jug of this to give it a run. I wanted a low calorie, zero carb protein shake that didn't taste like ass. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't outrageous either, and this will be my new protein of choice. It genuinely tastes pretty good, and the numbers on it are hard to beat. A+

GNC Pro Performance AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60, Vanilla

I had to leave for work early, and so had to grab something quick, so I nabbed this from GNC since it had decent stats on it too. I have nothing negative to say about the protein. It mixes well, and tastes decent, but the price is retarded. 10 bucks more than the Dymatize for 2lbs less?! Thats just crazy. I give it an A for quality, but the price drops it to a B-

    Gaspari Superpump 250

This was my first experience with this type of product. I paid out the ass for it (60$!) because I snatched it up at GNC that same day. I am really conflicted about it. The dosage recommends 1-3 scoops before working out, and I started with one, and I felt like I was going to have a stroke. Heart pounding, sick to my stomach, the second half of my workout actually suffered because of the nausea. After using it for a week, it seems to have gotten a little better, so I will hold off on slamming it, but truth be told, I feel a lot better on ECA, or even just coffee and whey mixed. With this sort of price tag, sort of a waste in my honest opinion. C

    Jack3d

A friend of mine gave me the rest of his bottle of this after I was telling him about how the superpump was making me feel. I took one scoop. It made me feel pretty much the same, but I would sooner lick a turd than take this. What a horrible tasting supplement. I literally gagged after drinking it. If this would make me look like Ronnie Coleman inside of 3 weeks I would still flush it down the toilet. Worst tasting supp ever. F

    USPlabs Jack3d™ - Lemon Lime - USP LABS 1010125 - GNC

Anyway, just wanted to toss in my two cents because I always see people asking about protein, and the Superpump and Jack3d get mentioned here a lot.

If you though superpump tasted bad, good luck with the jack3d. I would lick a toilet bowl before I drank it again. The Superpump wasnt good, but at least it didnt make me gag uncontrollably.

The Dymatize is awesome. I will be ordering a couple big jugs when I get home.
