Its creatine monohydrate with a pH buffering additive (the soda ash). Creatine works the same way it always did, the soda ash buffers the pH ... pretty straight forward

Along with fancy creatine's like krealkalyn, OP may want to check out Orotine. I like the science behind Orotine better.
