Are there any pills that can reduce carb assimilation? (Ithink I worded that right?) If there are what are your thoughts on them and which ones are best for my buck?

Also- I started taking green tea pills besides being an antioxidant will they speed my metabolism up????

Amylase inhibitors. White Kidney bean extract is a popular one found in some weight management products. My thought is that I'd rather promote weight loss by increasing my metabolism. Being more active, eating more often, eating lots of spicy foods (cayenne,) etc. I'm not a fan of amylase inhibitors because a lot of people report back that they get terrible cramps, which to me makes sense. If your body isn't breaking down those carbs/starches, they aren't going to have a smooth ride through.

The green tea caps you're taking may increase your metabolism. I am a fan. Look for higher EGCG content.

Not to be too simplistic, but cut back on your carb intake, and you won't have to take pills to reduce assimilation.
