Life's N2KTS and Thiomucase Sponsored Log

needtogetaas has sponsored me with a few products to test and post the results for from his NeedToBuildMuscle product line.

So lets start by allowing them to speak for themselves

    About Us

At Need To Build Muscle INC., we believe in being much more than just another supplement company. The health and bodybuilding industry is already laden with product sellers, ingredient pushers, misleading advertisers and supplement companies of all shapes and sizes. Of course without advertising a company cannot survive. At Need To Build Muscle, we want that marketing to be word of mouth from satisfied customers, not just paid ads. We want to do much more than sell you products, we want you to become a convert of this fitness lifestyle and reach all of your goals no matter how ambitious they may be!

At the time that I founded Need To Build Muscle INC., I had guys like you and me in mind. Normal guys who wanted to lose lots of body fat and gain large amount of hard muscle. But my visions weren't just about bodybuilding and fitness, it was about people helping people. It was about the trust that you have for the guy spotting you during a personal record lift. Let’s face it, when the bar is stacked with plates and you are giving it your all, it takes another guy just like you to keep you safe and on track. In the gym we are all brothers, but the business end of it has become quite ugly, people helping people has become but a memory in the supplement industry. Companies are out to get rich quick and people who have a heart for others are almost impossible to come by. With the corporatization of bodybuilding and our passion for fitness, the dollar has become more valuable than helping one another reach our goals. This is something that really saddens me.

I swore and oath when I created Need To Build Muscle INC. I, Nathan Chase, intend to change all that is wrong with the industry and make a huge difference in people’s lives. I will care more for my customer’s health and wellbeing than their wallets, and I will earn each penny through satisfied return customers and not the smoke and mirrors used by other much larger companies. I promise to strive to be the best I can be for you, and go the extra mile, putting you first as a person with goals and passion for life, not thinking about a monetary reward until you are fully satisfied with your experience with me and my company. As I dreamed up the business model for Need To Build Muscle, I did so putting much more value on you, the breathing walking body in need of getting in shape, not on numbers and margins.

When you contact my expert support group through email or by phone, you will get much more than just a prompt customer service reply from a paid representative. You will get a warm greeting from somebody who cares about your needs and wants, somebody whose sole purpose is to help you reach your goals. Your emails and your calls are answered by someone who will treat you like a friend, somebody whom you would trust in the gym spotting you during your all-time personal record bench-press because that is the kind of guy I am. I only surround myself with guys who are as dedicated to helping others as me. I not only want Need To Build Muscle to be your favorite supplement company, but for me to become your friend and brother in iron. I care about you more than your wallet and I will do everything I can to make you happy, but if you are still not satisfied with me and my company then you can keep your money, because I will not accept a single dollar I haven’t earned.

I promise you I don’t just talk a good talk. I actually walk the righteous walk through the path of goodness. You’ll agree this is true once you start interacting with me and dealing with Need To Build Muscle INC. as a supplement company. We know you will find that we truly are good humble people who just want to help guys like you get in great shape and hopefully earn the right to feed our families in the process. Need To Buildmuscle INC. is nothing like any other supplement company you have ever experienced before, because our foundation is rooted in helping others reach their goals first, before we ever think of a reward for ourselves .

I, Nathan Chase, believe in these ideals very strongly and I hope I can earn the chance to help change the lives of millions of people making not only the health and bodybuilding industry a better place, maybe even the world. Until then, today is your day and I am here to help you.
I’m here for you brothers and sisters of iron. Just call and Need To Build Muscle INC. will be at your side.

    Nathan chase
CEO of Need To Build Muscle

Personally I think this sounds wonderful but their products are to expensive. Take for example N2KTS. This is obviously a direct competitor for Jack3d. I can get Jack3d shipped to my door for $33.97. N2KTS will cost me $41.99 w/free shipping. Same amount of servings but theres about a gram worth of product extra in N2KTS. And this is assuming no discounts on anything of course (There are obviously cheaper ways to acquire these). Directly comparing these two, N2KTS comes out to 6.9grams/dollar and Jack3d 7.35grams/dollar. So Jack3d comes out a little cheaper. Not much, granted, but in this economy I eat off the value meal so to speak.

The question then becomes, is the price difference worth it? That will be the point of this log.

    N2KTS:

Disclaimer: I should mention before saying anything that I do not take "pre-workout" supplements. I have tried everything out there (Name brand) at one point or another so I have a lot of experience to go on. That being said I make my own pre-workout drinks from bulk powders at this point. I know what works for me and what doesn't along with whats worth the money and what isn't. I would like to think that I can tell you if something is dosed correctly or if its full of filler. If you don't really get the feel from me already, I'm skeptical about N2KTS and have told need2getaas as much when I initially pm'd him. So I'll give you as honest and unbiased a response as I am able. And I'm pretty fucking able.

Early morning you wake to a new day. The sun has not yet raised, as the cold hard steal calls your name.

Like a warrior preparing for battle, the mental preparation has begun!

Deep within, the desire burns! You feel the NEED…the NEED TO KILL THAT SH*T! You know you will need energy, strength, stamina and endurance for your battle and the right combination of compounds to deliver consistent mind-blowing power.

You need N2KTS!N2KTS gives you the bloodthirsty, murderous, barbaric ability to smash the steal, killing everything in your path with crazy, long lasting energy and sick muscle engorging pumps. N2KTS could easily be the most intense battle formula ever created!

N2KTS brings you to a whole new level of intensity with immortal focus and energy. The pumps and vascularity from N2KTS are out of control.

You can feel its intensity burning through your skin!

    When you feel the NEED...the
NEED TO KILL THAT SH*T, You needN2KTS!

"These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."

    Comparing this to Jack3d:
    Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate,
    Creatine Monohydrate,
    Beta Alanine,
    Caffeine,
    1,3-Dimethylamylamine (Geranium [Stem]),
    Shizandrol A

    N2KTS Breakdown:

    Creatine Monohydrate:
Of course. They had to include it! Creatine is the spawn of Baby Jesus and is single handedly responsible for where bodybuilding is today! Well not really, at least not the supplementation side. But creatine does offer some pretty nice benefits. Increased ATP retention, lean muscle gain, endurance increases, performance increases, water weight (Oh thats a bad one) and faster recovery are just a few of the side effects caused by creatine supplementation.

I'd tag the dose in N2KTS at between 2-3g. I believe this to be insufficient to see any major results from and would strongly encourage supplementing this with your own creatine sources (Either red meat or an actual powder/caps).

    Beta Alanine:
My spider sense is tingly. Yes this is generally what causes your skin to feel like you have thousands of little spiders crawling across it. Beta Alanine is generally taken pre-workout to increase endurance and reduce fatigue and is also said to increase energy (Maybe thats just cause you're freaking out what with the spiders and all). I've been taking it for quite some time and enjoy it. (I take it pre-workout and pre-fasted cardio). There is a supposed synergistic effect when taken with creatine sources though I have yet to see any studies demonstrating the effect.

Given the breakdown I'm guessing there is about ~1.5-3g of Beta Alanine per dose. I prefer 5g pre-workout so I supplement in my own. Given what I add I feel there is about 2g of BA in N2KTS.

    L-Arignine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG):

Saw this one coming. Everyone uses it. Why? Because everyone wants a blood bursting pump to make themselves feel like they've accomplished something. AAKG is said to quickly increase the strength, the creation and speed recovery in all muscles. While I have heard a lot of debate on this topic I think most of the science favors supplementation as a positive thing, not negative. Besides, you get awesome pumps! Who wouldn't want that?! (Well me, I'd rather finish my workout than have to lie down to kill a back pump)

Regardless, AAKG supplementation has been shown to promote growth hormone and anabolic insulin secretion in certain subjects (At a dose of 10g/day in adult males [I'm guessing you might be seeing ~1-1.5g/dose in N2KTS]). It has also been shown to have certain anti-catabolic properties. So why not throw it in there?

    Fibersol-2:
This is actually an interesting choice. I'm not sure if it is in here for taste/texture reasons or because of fibersol's ability to be broken down into short-chain fatty acids by colon bacteria. Regardless, fibersol is a fiber alternative that is left in tact by your system (Up to 90%) and flushed out as a waste product. Fibersol-2 is a resistant maltodextrin. While fiber has been shown to improve colonic health, bifidobacterial or lactobacillus stimulation in the gut, coronary artery health, cholesterol reduction, glucose metabolism and insulin response, I would hazard to guess that it would be very ineffective at the levels of supplementation provided in N2KTS. So, its a mystery to me!

    Caffeine:
No surprise here really. CNS stimulant. Anti-fatigue, increased alertness and power combined with the need to urinate more frequently. Good stuff really.

    Geranium:

The "hot stimulant" at the moment. Used as a party drugs in some places, whether or not this will be allowed to stay on the market is currently up for debate. I think it has it's risks and side effects and while I used to use it regularly I have since abandoned the practice. This, along with the Beta Alanine will make your skin crawl. Increased sense of well being, pumps, focus and endurance can be positively effected by supplementation. This will also cause you to crash. Hard. (I'm assuming the dose in N2KTS to be ~75-100mg based on my reaction only. Jack3d is more likely around ~35-50mg). If you respond well to Geranium, N2KTS will work out better for you and end up a little cheaper than Jack3d dose for dose.

    Feedback:
So which is better? Well the only thing N2KTS is missing to make it a complete clone of Jack3d is Shizandrol A. Personally I don't think Shizandrol A does anything and this ingredient was added to Jack3d only after Jack3d got caught adding some "vet grade" powder into their mix. This is why some people loved the original formula while the new one doesn't really do anything for them.

I would love to see Need2 replace the creatine mono with another type of creatine. Creapure or my personal favorite MangaPower would be great additions given the price difference but mono will get the job done regardless. NAC, Taurine, ALA and maybe some Glutamine would have been nice additions but obviously not a necessity.

I'll be giving my feedback based on the following criteria:
Value/Quality - Is it worth the price?
Energy - Did it make me want to pick things up and put them down?
Strength - Was I able to actually pick said things up and put them down?
Focus - Was I actually engaged regardless of my personal life
    Overall - 1+1 = 2

I will not grade on taste or pump because both of those are gay standards and you should get over them. If I mention pump it will only be as a negative when training suffered.

4th day of using N2KTS and I can feel it. Much better response when compared to Jack3d and I think my dosage estimations are pretty accurate. Numbers are increasing in lifts (On 5/3/1 so they sorta have to..). Feel like I have the energy to get through. Only thing I don't like is the pumps. They slow me down a little bit. But I have more energy. Give and take I guess.

Well to be honest I haven't really noticed anything with it. Thats why I've been holding off on commenting. I've been using it in places with stretch marks but I just haven't seen anything happen yet. Or at least its not noticeable.

Just thought I'd do another update. Still enjoying it, the effects of 1,3 are starting to die off a little for me though. I like it much better than Jack3d and I think it is a better value. Have been on this in PCT and I can say it has definitely helped my PCT as its easier to keep aggression in the gym up to par and moving like I'm supposed to be.
