TESTOFEN Helps Libido

Testofen, a standardized Trigonella foenum-graecum (Fenugreek) extract and mineral formulation is found in the 3 products on the left. Well this ingredient has now showed a positive effect on various aspects of male libido and may assist to maintain normal healthy testosterone levels, according to a new study published in Phytotherapy Research (2011; DOI: 10.1002/ptr.3360).

The Research

Researchers Elizabeth Steels and Amanda Rao and Luis Vitetta decided to put this Testofen stuff to the test! The threesome worked tirelessly to recruit 60 well hung males aged between 25 and 52! Yup, they even went after the older gents. All men were carefully screened to ensure that none of them had any problems getting their dicks hard and had no other erectile dysfunctions. Not sure how they were 100% sure that they had no erection dysfunction but we’ll leave it to your imagination! Okay, now back to the plug for Testofen. The sexually excited men were given an oral dose (yes it was oral) of either 600 mg/d Testofen or a placebo for 6 weeks.

The Result

Testofen demonstrated an overall positive effect on physiological aspects of libido. In particular, there was a significant increase in sexual arousal and orgasm. Testofen had a positive effect on QOL in self-reported satisfaction with muscle strength, energy and well-being, but did not have an effect on mood or sleep. Serum prolactin and testosterone levels remained within the reference range. Testofen can be used to assist with libido if that’s your “thing” or many bodybuilders use it help boost natural test levels.
