Reply With QuoteLooks like a way for them to make money mostly, requiring a registration fee for anyone who makes, grows or processes foods sold beyond directly to the consumer...A lot of these smaller farmers who sell to a person who then sets up shop in a Farmers Market, I know a few folks who do this, they barely make money as is they mainly do it to provide organic GMO free fruits and vegetables to the community....

you're missing the important part, the FDA will have ultimate power do whatever they want whether it be food, supplements or drugs, and as you should know the pharmaceutical industry is the one that controls the FDA.
