    Taking a Gov. drug test

Is there any reason for me to worry about the ephedrine in an ECA stack(ripped fuel extreme) showing up on a drug test? Also, what about creatine?

If ephedrine did show up as an amphetamine, which I have heard it could, what is the best way to explain this being in the system?

Ephedrine is not illegal, so I wouldn't worry about that. You can explain it to them if they come up with it and they should be fine with it. As for creatine, it occurs naturally in the body. I don't think they're going to bother testing for this, and again, it isn't illegal. I wouldn't worry too much.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

dojdave, not sure what branch you're talking about but I'm 22 years Air Force and can tell you from that angle. Ponyboy's right on about the Creatine, the Ephedrin is only slightly more complicated because the government is so suspicious. Just save you receipts to prove you're on an ECA stack and if the question is asked you'll have the answer. I've taken tons of ECA's and never popped positive for anything.

If I remember correctly, when I used to take the test in the Navy they always asked you to write down any medications you were on before submitting a sample. What's wrong with writing it down if you think it might be a problem??

...come to think of it, my buddies and I were on ECA, creatine, glutamine..etc..etc..nobody was questioned after a test....

That was a trick they used to use that is now illegal. (It's illegal in the Air Force anyway, not sure about the Navy.) They made you write down anything you had taken so that even if it didn't show up on the test they could still bust you for it. I'm not talking legal stuff, some jokers thought it was an immunity letter, that if they wrote it down they couldn't get busted for it so they'd list all the pot they smoked, coke they'd snorted, etc. WRONG, it was exactly the opposite. It's illegal now under an unlawful search and seizure rule.
