    Green Tea For Fat Loss

    Green Tea For Fat Loss
    By Mark Gilbert

QUESTION: What is the best fat burning ingredient out there?

ANSWER: First of all, let me say that the “best fat-burning ingredient” is a high-protein, reduced-calorie diet, that restricts sugar andstarchy carbs…but as far as things you can take to give yourselfa fat-burning edge. In the world of fat burner supplements, there are tons of exotic-sounding names, like Salvia Officinalis, Bacopa Monniera, Naringin, Hordeum Vulgare…the list goes on. Most of these do have some level of scientific support for influencing some aspect of fatloss. But it is becoming increasingly obvious that good old Green Tea is probably THE most effective fat burning ingredient of themall! Sure explains why you never see an over-weight Buddhist Monk! Joking aside, you should be aware that the Green Tea found in quality fat burner products is not the same stuff that ends up in a typical tea bag. It is standardized to contain high levels of active catechins (such as EGCG, etc) – a type of polyphenol that has been shown to be primarily responsible for its effects. Barely a month goes by that I don’t see another positive green tea study (whether it’s for health or fat-burning effects). I can’t make that statement about other fat burner ingredients. So it looks like, of all of the legal, safe ingredients available, Green Tea has the most vast and consistent support from solid scientific research!

    Green Tea Also Reduces Appetite

Now, yet another new Green Tea study shows that people who drank it with breakfast felt much more full and satisfied than when they drank the same amount of water with the same meal on a separate day. However, drinking Green Tea didn’t have an effect on insulin or blood sugars that has been shown in other studies where subjects took purified green tea catechins or high-catechin-containing green tea. So it looks like a regular cup of green tea has some effect on the fat loss equation but that higher levels of catechins are required to obtain some of the other benefits of green tea. Also, the best green tea weight loss studies used standardized green tea with high levels of catechins. So the bottom line? Feel free to drink green tea for its weight-loss and health-promoting effects but concentrated green tea extracts found in supplements are probably more powerful and have further-reaching effects.

I was so proud of this idea i came up with the other day...
I bought a plastic gallon jug with a top, a bunch of green tea bags and was going to make a little less than a gallon of green tea everyday and throw in a bottle of isopure RTD bottles. the 120 cal-40 g pro- 0 carb ones, and half a bottle of VPX extreme energy. all that made about a gallon

put it in the fridge and take my coffee cup to fill up about every hour. after about 3 hours it turned brown and there was some gross chucky flakes in it that i have no clue where they came from.

My friend does this. He boils the water, steeps the tea in a big plastic jug, removes pouches when finished. Lets cool, drinks for a week.

Ive been using Primordial's GTE for a while now. Its something thats a creeper, you just gotta keep using it to see its effects, even then its hard to differentiate its effects from diet and working out. Still though its a good staple to have.

IMO even the antioxident effects are worth it alone with Green Tea. No reason to NOT use it

Even good for fighting certain kinds of cancers. Im sure the caffeine plays a role in fat burning too.

    Good post

Anybody know the best over the counter green tea supplements out there? Or should I just go out and buy some green tea bags and take it from there?

Would black tea have the same benefit as the green tea ?

I like to vary the tea and drink and I don't restrict myself only to green tea. But I might if only green tea has does benefits.

    Thanks.

gonna need to order some of Primordial's... but I really do enjoy the taste now that I perfected brewing it.

I had been drinking 4-6 cups a day for a few weeks in a row. I'm starting this up again as I'm cutting... and really want the green tea benefits.

Paired with CLA, it really is a nice natural stack to aid in the cut (and over all health).
