
If your carrying fat around your mid section, is there any truth to not doing Ab work as it blocks out your waist and loses you any chance of getting the X-look.


I have read this before. Doing abdominal exercises will build up the muscle UNDERNEATH the adipose tissue. I wouldn't avoid them, but if you are doing key exercises like squats and deads, your working out the core. Once the BF% is low, then you possibly incorporate one of those ab-ripper programs. This way you can start to define the muscles.
