    Pre-workout Pills vs. Powder

    Which do you prefer and why? I used to prefer powder mixes until this past week, been getting nautious before and after my workouts and burp up the drink taste...pretty annoyed. Anyone else?

    +1 for powdered drink.

    I liked making my own mixtures from bulk supplies and "tweaking" the amounts. I could never get to downing a bunch of pills before lifting or running.

    +2 for powdered drinks. I can control how much I use each time more easily. If I feel like I need a good boost I just add some extra powder or in most cases I use a half serving just for a slight edge. Usually the PWO have too much caffeine.

    Yea, forgot to mention that the only "pills" I take are E & A. Usually I'll down them with an energy drink with caffeine liked Speed Stack. Lifting days would just be a homemade cocktail.
