It occurred to me that everything these days revolves around taste when it comes to supps. Most this stuff is become too sweet now. I remember back in the day, late 70's and 80's, when all supps tasted like ass. Anyone remember the liquid amino 2200? Worst shit ever, i'd rather drink a bottle of robatussin or vicks cough syrup. How about Metrx whey powder, Weider's for that matter. What's the worst tasting supps you've tired either past or present. Anyone pre 1978? I could only imagine.
Dude the amino liquid, actually tasted pretty good! Wasn't it in a black bottle with a red sticker and there was only like 10 days worth of servings? I might not be talking about the same one, but I do remember a liquid amino that was thick as syrup.
And yes I've been around for a while. Most of the stuff now, tries to please the palate instead of producing results...WTF!
Oh, I have the worst tasting crap ever! I take dessicated liver pills every day, and last time I ordered a batch of supps, I decided to go with liver POWDER, which was oh so much cheaper than the pills... figured I would just drink it quick, and never notice the taste... oh how wrong I was! And the smell...Oh, God, just the smell can make you sick. Not enough that it tastes bad going down, and not enough that it stays in your mouth for awhile... no, you actually get *liver burps* for an hour or so, and that sick liver taste is right there for you again. Liver has got to be the worst smelling, worst tasting stuff there is. I don't know if I can ever finish it off.... back to the pills for me... I take both the Universal UniLiver, and the Beverly Ultra 40, both great products. But the Liver Powder.... damn. Cruel and inhuman self-punishment there.
I ordered a tub of this powder thinking it would have no taste whatsoever, like the monohydrate, but this evil shit proceeded to CINGE my tastebuds... awful tasting stuff, it really requires capsules...
