Liver supplements - Are they really worth it?

I have seen few articles and evidence that liver toxicity is very overrated.

From what I have seen, true danger of liver damage is only seen in cases where the users are using HIGH doses of orals for LONG time periods.

What are your thoughts on Liver supps? Are they crucial on standard cycles like dbol 50mg ED for 4-6 weeks?

I think you're right about oral aas toxicity being overrated in most cases, not to say it can't happen but it won't be a problem for the vast majority of people.

I have a few bottles of liver supps and for a while I was taking em even when not using anything methylated, and honestly I felt better... Like I had more energy and less "brain fog" , as bullshit as that sounds lol. I might start taking em again just to see if it is placebo. Soo I think they might actually help you in day to day life, but I don't think they're that much more necessary when cycling

I think liver supps are a needed addition to more stacks. Many bodybuilders use and abuse drugs and Steroids many of which can put strain on the liver. A liver support can help maintain a healthy functioning liver. As for the liver enzymes being overrated on orals I am starting to disagree. A buddy of mine recently was rushed to the ER for food poisoning and was using 15mgs of Dbol a day with some Test as a light bridge. He had been doing this for 8 wks thinking that the dose was low and should be fine. Well it turn out his liver enzymes came back higher than normal and they wanted him to have a follow up visit to make sure they were in check. That was on 15mgs a day. He uses no liver support. I use liver support supps. I prefer the IronMagLabs Advanced Cycle Support because it does more than protect the liver. You only have one liver you might as well try to help it as much as you can. THe liver is very durable but if it fails and it sometimes does from years of abuse you are in a bad way.

I did a small cycle of Test P 100 eod and Var 60 ED - 8 weeks total.

I did not run any liver support and my HDL and LDL still went down to below the standard ranges. HDL was actually a bit above standard range when I started. and then dropped to 10 points under.

But hey we're all different all react differently to things. Using info I got from this cycle, I will run liver support next time and see what happends. It cant hurt right? stuff is cheep too.

^liv52 is a good liver supp. I stopped taking milk thistle because I read that it down regulates androgen receptors. I'm getting some good liver supps from europe that are supposed to be really good. I will let you guys know if they're good.

Fish oil is also a good idea when taking oral compounds.

I use liver support everyday. I asked Prince to make advanced liver support when he first got into PH's and DS's. I even helped come up with the name. Keep in mind its full of antioxidants that are good for you. A healthy liver has been shown to synthensis protein better than a stressed liver.

I believe when the body is involved, it is always better to have safety as a number one priority. Check out Synthetek's Synthergine - Liver Protectant!

I took milk thistle and it made me feel great in general, including my libido. Funny huh? Do a search on "liver and libido" and I'm sure you'll find others who have found the same.
For building muscle, difficult to know - yep sure it makes some difference, but how can you measure it?
I'm not stopping all the other supplements I take just to test liver supplements. But the point about libido is a relevant one and it's all related.

Anyone have any opinions on Anabolic Innovation's Cycle Support?

Seems to have everything in it that would be needed.

It is fine though I prefer the one from Iron Mags, it is pills that are easy to take, has less saw palmetto which I don't think is the best for prostate support and did I mention it is pills? Seriously, AI makes some good products it is just not the best tasting supplement in the morning.

I think you can build your own support stack with a little thought but the Iron Mags Advanced Cycle Support is the only all in one I will use.
