i quit using any form of stimulants. So, i use caffeine free no-xplode with some extra beta alanine and tyrosine added. It actually gives me pretty good pumps.

There are some good products out there. But, if you're gonna take the stim route, you can just pop a caffeine pill and save urself money

I think they are a waste of money, however, since my dad got around he age of 50 he loves taking a PWO stimulant. It's obviously a little extra motivation due to a lack of natural Test.

When I got off ephedra for a while, I used jack3d, 1.m.r. and whatever free sample I got at vitamin shoppe. You build a tolerance quick, thus, increase your servings. Nothing beat my ECA stack.

On the flip side, I found that my pumps made me inflexible. I ended up not being able to do a full ROM or more to the point, it made me NOT want to do a full rep. Cant say I liked that feeling.

A friend gave me some of his white flood a couple of times, before going to the gym, when I was super tired and didn't feel like working out. It made a difference, but I'm sure having a cup of coffee before the gym would have done the same thing.

Nothing beats a solid meal 2 hours prior to training and a little bit of caffeine...

    Depends on what you mean.

Caffeine works for endurance training and mildly for resistnace but research is mixed in this area. CHO + PRO pre workout is great. Anything else and it is pretty much a waste of money.

I use d-aspartic acid as my prework out sup. Gives me a small buzz, doesn't have any crash, and it's cheap.

I always eat 30min-1hr before working out. I normally take a PWO such as white flood, jack3d, superpump.... but I think I'm going to lay low on them for a while and try 1 bronkaid and a cup of coffee. Besides, the pumps from the dbol are more than enough!

Totally worth it if you feel you benefit from it. Some people prefer it, some people don't. I hit the gym after work, so I prefer it; not a "need," but a strong preference. Mesomorph by APS is my personal favorite; it has the highest concentration of BA relative to other popular pre-workouts (6g BA rather then the norm of 2g BA most pre's contain) and the stim matrix is solid.

^^^^ How do you compare SuperMax to the original? I've used both and actually prefer SP250.

Jack3d, about two scoops, is what I've been using recently. Definitely wakes me up.

    Love SuperPump250, too.

A large coffee works just fine, though.

And with supplements, well, you can't argue with the placebo effect even if they are "worthless" from a chemical perspective.

I get more pumps from superpump 250 hands downs, but superman gives me more energy and endurance but not as much pump as the superpump 250

Upon the advice of TGB1987, I just started using SuperPump Max and it's awesome. I don't get that jittery feeling but it does help my endurance. And it's one of the very few preworkout supps I've used that tastes great with no funky aftertaste.

Mesomorph like Volc said; IMO nothing in my mind compares. There are a lot to choose from, many suck royally, and even more are so stim loaded you are too wired to get a workout. My suggestion, find out what you are using it for, source of creatine/beta alanine, stims, both and choose accordingly. I hate the place but at the bb.com store there are lots of reviews to help you choose, then come to Orbit to get the best deal .

Supplements are suppose to help you achieve your workout goals,
particularly by supplying nutrients that are important part of a
    strenuous workout.

They are not suppose to give you a pump, your training is suppose
to do that. Those with sugar, caffeine, certain teas, and such
raise your alertness, but your effort levels play a much larger role.

I think that you might be mixing these things up. Almost any
preworkout food can positively improve your endurance compared
to taking nothing... even water has this effect.

    Personally I use a banana.

I remember loving Super Pump when I used it a few years back but I was also a stimulant junkie. I hardly even drink coffee anymore. Now that I'm back in the gym basically stimulant-free I actually feel more focused without them. And I've never had a problem achieving a pump without a pre-workout supp either.

i love pre workouts.....they can make a normal workout that much more intense and enjoyable....don't go with something to stim'd out like a mesomorph, that stuffs like liquid crack.....a nice caffeine supplement wil do the trick to wake you up a bit and get you going

Several people have mentioned SuperPump250, I personally hate that stuff. It gives me a headache and makes me jittery......I have started using C4 by Cellucor (2 scoops) and i love that shit man. Great intensity in the gym, feel like I could do my workout a couple times, and makes me feel great a few hours after. Oh and its the best tasting one I've ever tried.
