    L-Tyrosine ???

L-Tyrosine is illegal in Canada (go figure) but I've been thinking about getting some for when I start to work on my tan.
Are there any bodybuilding benefits? And why the hell does it become outlawed north of the Peace Arch?

L-Tyrosine for tan? I must have missed something.

It's a precursor to the catecholamines, so taking it with some sort of stimulant like caffeine, ephedrine or both makes you even more wired. Oh what fun.

Not an amazing difference, but if you're sensitive to stimulants you'll notice it.

The only supp I know of for a tan, and I don't recommend it, is canthaxanthin...an industrial strength food dye, dyes you from the inside out!

Doiliso's markets something called Elusun.......based on Beta-carotene....which can turn you orange/gold if you take enough.......and helps protectd the skin and eyes from UV's (beta carotene)....but does not help with a tan!

L-Tyrosine actually has warnings for people pre-disposed to melanoma...and certain psychiatric disorders.
