Why would you 'struggle' to drink creatine? It's tasteless. Maybe a bit gritty, but nothing to struggle with. Toss a scoop in half a cup of water and chug. Chase it with something else if you want.

I mixed the creatine with a full glass of orange juice and sometimes I placed the powder in my mouth and then drink the orange juice... Either way worked well

Probably adds a minute amount of sugar but u need the insulin spike to deliver creatine to the muscles anyway if im understanding correctly.

dextrose is used in the creatine to cause a spike in insulin thereby transporting the creatine into the muscle cell not sure how it will effect your diet sorry didnt answer your question

Yeah they all got it right. The dextrose is in the supp as a transporter to the muscles. The actual calorie amount is low I would assume so there isn't any worry. I switched from powdered creatine to capsules so I know where you are coming from and why you wanted to switch..

If you can't "take the creatine taste" just get any of the myriad of creatine pills. Heck ON makes a creapure pill and Orbit sells it.

Your creatine should really be completely dissolved when you drink it. All you have to do is mix it for about 30 secs in a glass of 12-16oz of room temp water.

Since when does creatine dissolve? I've been taking it for 16 years and have not seen it dissolve. You can buy micronized, that isn't as noticeable, but I don't think it dissolves.
