    Protein powder expiration

Says 2 years... Its been 2 and a half.... I switched cuz it was the unflavored truprotein and i went in and got a tooooon that i liked way more but im almost out, i figured since its a dry powder shouldnt it not have an expiration as long as its stored properly (air-tight in my closet) I made a shake from it just now and it tastes the same, should i toss it? Anyone else held onto like that?
