    Biotest SURGE

What does everyone think of this product for after workout? It tastes damn goo but has a shit load of sugar in it.

Its pretty ideal for postworkout consumption. Your body needs the sugar to fill up glycogen stores and the protein to stimulate synthesis. Ideally, you want a 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein. I think Surge is 1:1, but it isn't bad.

I've seen it.. looks like it's a lot of money to pay for something that looks like it's half freaken table sugar.

I'm sure it's a good product, but there are cheaper ways to get the job done IMO.

RECOVER X by Musclelink is superior, but Biotest Surge is still a good post workout drink. I have tried both and stick with RX.

Really...I think Biotest Surge tastes like ASS! I can't drink it without gagging! Still, it is a fine product for post workout nutrition.

You can also get some whey isolate, creatine, glut peptides, and drink it with a simple carb and do just fine.
