    Thumbs down Hydroxycut no more?

I was just at GNC and was told that Hydroxycut is no longer in production. Is this true? or a shameless tactic to get me to load up on the stuff?

(This is my first post, by the way. I have enjoyed reading this site for a year now.)

I've been watching the 'hawks underperform and disappoint. Every year around the time the playoffs begin, I have more time to read.

Seriously, I just did a better search and see that this is in fact very old news. Sorry for the clutter.

I do not have a problem with him, except that he sold himself out to a supplement company (in a big deceiving way), but I guess most pros do eventually otherwise they would not be able to afford their drugs.

Maybe they feel that anyone that gets into it long enough to STAY into it will eventually figure out supplements are BS, I really dont know what thier line of thinking is, maybe he doesn't care at all though, who knows.

There are a few supplements that I'm sure do some work, but very rarely will any of them in my estimation provide more than 5-10% of any worth, diet, hard work, and persistence will get the job done, supplements overall are a waste of money IMO except for the natural competitor looking for any legal edge they can, but we know that those competitors are also those working their asses off getting thier moneys worth, not Joe Average thinking its magical.

Priest isn't the only one who has sold out. If you are pro, you have to have sponsors. Like anything else, it's all about money.

Supplements have their place (some of them, anyway) but NOTHING will change you overnight (physically anyway). I was at GNC today and noticed a sign that said that effective (some date, I didn't really pay attention) they would no longer carry any supplements that contained E.

Priest also likes to race, much of that requires funding until you have someone paying your way. Even for us small timers, every track day is going to basically cost $300-$400, no pit crew and thats if you have a large group of people to share the cost with. $2000-$5000 to rent most tracks for the day.

If you were to put all supplements into a big box, if you had to group them all together with one statement I think you'd have to say "this is alot of bs."

Hydroxycut may not be worth the money but it is good stuff.

    Just one man's opinion.
