    Guarana, Green Tea, CLA

Having figured out a good "Fat Burning Stack" after years of experimention....I need some help please?

Being short on time, if anyone wants to contribute to research and information for this thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

In particular...I'm looking for the "Famed" 24 hour Fat Oxidation Study on Green tea...especially any follow up detailing whether it is "effective" for longer periods, and any clycling information...

    Thanks in Advance....

Here is some direction for starters.....any quotes or bolding from the articles would be appreci8ted......

Obesity/Weight Control: Recent studies on green tea's thermogenic properties have demonstrated a synergistic interaction between caffeine and catechin polyphenols that appears to prolong sympathetic stimulation of thermogenesis. A human study of green tea extract containing 90 mg EGCG taken three times daily concluded that men taking the extract burned 266 more calories per day than did those in the placebo group and that green tea extract's thermogenic effects may play a role in controlling obesity.23 Green tea polyphenols have also beeen shown to markedly inhibit digestive lipases in vitro, resulting in decreased lipolysis of triglycerides, which may translate to reduced fat digestion in humans.10,11

This is the one I'm after

TITLE: Green tea and thermogenesis: interactions between catechin-polyphenols, caffeine and sympathetic activity.
AUTHORS: Dulloo AG; Seydoux J; Girardier L; Chantre P; Vandermander J
ADDRESS: Institute of Physiology, University of Fribourg, Fribourg, Switzerland. abdul.dulloo@unifr.ch
SOURCE: Int J Obes Relat Metab Disord 2000 Feb;24(2):252-8
    ABSTRACT:
The thermogenic effect of tea is generally attributed to its caffeine content. We report here that a green tea extract stimulates brown adipose tissue thermogenesis to an extent which is much greater than can be attributed to its caffeine content per se, and that its thermogenic properties could reside primarily in an interaction between its high content in catechin-polyphenols and caffeine with sympathetically released noradrenaline (NA). Since catechin-polyphenols are known to be capable of inhibiting catechol-O-methyl-transferase (the enzyme that degrades NA), and caffeine to inhibit trancellular phosphodiesterases (enzymes that break down NA-induced cAMP), it is proposed that the green tea extract, via its catechin-polyphenols and caffeine, is effective in stimulating thermogenesis by relieving inhibition at different control points along the NA-cAMP axis. Such a synergistic interaction between catechin-polyphenols and caffeine to augment and prolong sympathetic stimulation of thermogenesis could be of value in assisting the management of obesity

Green tea helps to get rid from the weight very quickly. It’s biologically best for your body. Its free of caffeine that’s sure good for health. It helps to burn the extra fat of the body and as well as also useful to make the body warm.

Green tea is one of the oldest beverages around the world and the most consumed (neglecting the water). One of the teas that is gaining more popularity in recent years due to its many beneficial health properties. The fresh leaves are collected. Can be obtained by drying the leaves by the action of steam (Japanese system) or by heating (Chinese system) . is obtained from the same plant as black tea, but by processes that hardly changing its chemical composition, thereby retaining the active ingredients of the plant (polyphenols, which are antioxidants that help fight the degenerative processes of the human body).
