Creatine and Water weight
I took about 10 grams of Creatine-MH for three or four days and the scale went up from ~184 to ~190lbs.
I have stopped using it for two days now (well 1.5) and the scale is now back to around 188.
I had to discontinue Creatine per instruction from my MD (due to a medical Dx) until a later time.
How long does it normally take for the water weight ( and it can't be much of anything else so quick) to be gone?

Certain anabolic steroids like Dianabol and Anadrol elict the same effect.

Thus, it not a bad thing for health individuals.
The majority of medical doctors can't spell creatine. They have no clue of what it is or what it does.
With that in mind, your medical doctor recommendation is based on ignorance.
Water Going Away
Most likely you'll love you water weight in 3 - 4 days. The same number of days it took to gain the water weight.
It should be gone in a week. Nothing to fret about yet bro. After a week check the scale again and see what it says I'm sure it will read something different. Also check your body fat percentage too just to make sure it hasn't gone up at all.
yep about a week to lose it and i do think you can have problems from creatine specially for prolonged periods of time i think the safe dose is 5 grams. but the water weight is nothing to worry about

Why did your dr tell you to stop? I'm with kenny, creatine is health promoting supplement

Seemed like I dropped the water weight fairly quickly
Yea I misread that. You should be good in about a week bro no problems. Water weight happens to us all. It goes away though so don't be worried at all. What type of Creatine were you using bro?

Let me reiterate this point. One of the characteristics of creatine and some anabolic steroids (Specifically, Dianabol and Anddrol.) is the cell voluminizing effect on the muscle cells.
That basically mean the muscle cell is "Super Hydrated".
This "Super Hydration" of the muscle cell increased strength and power.
That is one of (not the only) the reasons that creatine and some anabolic steroid increase strength and power.
"Dehydration and its effects on performance"
"Exercise performance is impaired when an individual is dehydrated by as little as 2% of body weight. Losses in excess of 5% of body weight can decrease the capacity for work by about 30% (Armstrong et al. 1985; Craig and Cummings 1966; Maughan 1991; Sawka and Pandolf 1990)."
As we know, dehydration decreases strength, power and athletic performance.
The opposite occurs with "Super Hydration".
The "Super Hydrated" muscle cell allows it to "electrically" more effectively, producing more strength and power.
By dropping you water weight you have countered the positive cell voluminizing effect that would have allowed you to make "in roads" into greater strength, power and size.
Like in the story of Cinderella, eliminating creatine just turned your coach back into a pumpkin.
