Creatine, split dose, half before half after workout?
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com What do you think?....
I have six meals a day, my fourth meal is at 4pm. - i then have 3gms creatine in water at 5:15pm. - workout for an hour or so. - then have 3 more grams creatine in water on the drive home. (6:30pm) - then eat meal five at ~7pm (high protein, carb) Is this a good way to take it?....is there a better way? thanks. |

It won't hurt you, but I am not sure there's any advantage to it. Why don't you just use the full 6g after the workout in a high protein/carb shake, that way your using the transport of sugar with the creatine, then eat your regular meal an hour or two later.

I started taking it this way because the owner of the nutrition store i go to said take creatine with water or white grape juice
right after a workout, then wait 20 minutes then eat a high protein/carb meal. I assume he knows his stuff cause he's a beast and has competed in shows....so is it ok to take with meals or empty stomach? I don't want to spike my insulin, so I just use plain creatine with no sugars. |
