Does it matter what kind of whey protein? Like could I just go to my local GNC and pickup their container of Whey Protein or what. And what would you be able to mix it with (what flavor etc) do you mix it with water? could you make a milkshake and mix it, mix it with soda etc etc.

You can mix it in whatever you want, just keep in mind soda would probably taste discusting (to me) and be full of crappy sugar.

GNC is overpriced, and supposedly of low quality - I would rather order it online. I really like Optimum Nutritions 10 pound bags, in chocolate, vanilla is nice too. Chocolate tastes like Ovaltine though, its the best tasting protein I've had so far, hands down.

Good tasting in warm water or good in milk. Should cost you about $45 for a 10 pound bag, GNC should be about double that last time I set foot in there for a supplement purchase (not protein, thats for sure).

I agree, Optimum Chocolate is by far the best I've had. I've tried Designer, GNC and Muscletech, all tasted like paste. Optimum is actually something I look forward too. It also mixes much easier. It's not like cement, you can actually mix it w/ a spoon and get MOST of the chunks out, if you use a shaker, even better. Really no need to blend unless you like to mix up a whole days worth.
