    Question weight gainer and mrp

I am 32 years old, 5' 6" and weigh 130 pounds. Is a weight gainer (such as BI mass maker) after workout and BI ultra size (twice a day) for a mrp too many calories or carbs?

I'm not familiar with those two products, so I'd check the labels for calorie info. What I can say is that many "weight gainers" are loaded with cholesterol. Be careful if this is something you're concerned about. Most people I know who've tried weight gainers have just put on a lot of fat from them. Even with a fast metabolism, you should be able to put on size without them by eating LOTS of solid food and supplementing with protein shakes.

Var is right. No weight gainer can replace Good Solid Food. But your carbohydrates must come in form of Complex Carbs rather than linear sugars! Also try to add good fats such as Cod Liver Oil, MCT's....Also include good number of Egg Yolks if you wanna get big!

Exactly var. Most guys who can't gain overestimate the speed of their metabolism. Now if you were the 100 pounds guy in school everyone picked on then yeah yours is prolly real fast, but you gotta be careful cause 900 or 1000 liquid calories can add fat really fast, and it's not space out at all so your more likely to store the excess as fat.
    back for the first time....

Those are 2 good products, you need to take in more calories than you burn whether it be from food or shakes or a combination.
