When you say "perfect", what do you mean? Perfect for what?

For post workout a 100% Hydrolyzed whey isolate is as close to perfect as it comes right now but for other times of the day it is not so perfect.

I dont believe there is a 'perfect' whey shake, I dont believe in it as an all day protein period, I use it myself for wakeup, pre and post gym only.

How much longer will it take for the whey to absorb when taken with carbs and fat at the same time?

Whey is going to get digested fast no matter what, so you guys paying 4 bux a lb difference for isolate to concentrate wont give you a big difference is size gains, as to post workout shakes...the carbs are just as important as the protein is to stop coristol, to spike insulin, to replenish energy needs, and to shuffle protein and carbs into the muscle cell where the growh actually occurs, oh and it's also said that you recover twice as fast if you do that...On the other hand, the perfect shake to me would be 20G of whey protein, strawberry flavor, 2 raw eggs, 2 table spoons of cottage cheese, 16 oz of milk, mix it up and drink it, it tastes good, with the best quality proteins in.
