Is it okay to consume caffine while on creatine?
I have heard that is alters some of the affects of the creatine and doesn't have the full affect.
Caffeine blocks adenosine, which makes the cell think it is full, so it inhibits nutrient uptake, including water -- IOW, it dehydrates the cell.
There is a study showing caffeine NOT interfering with creatine uptake and assimilation, but it DID inhibit the ergogenic effects.
