    Question Protein drink

Anyone ever try a beverage called "Extreme Pure Protein", manufactured by Worldwide Nutrition? It's got 42g whey protein, zero carbs, zero fat, 170 calories. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what you think. They go for about $3 off the shelf.

They are great for when you are on the Run and don't want to haul your shaker with you.

Taste a little medicine like, kinda like one of those meal replacment drinks (Slim Fast, Boost)

But for $3 not a bad deal.

Not to be crude or anything, but those drinks DO NOT burp well. Makes me shiver ever time I burp from this drink.

Yeah, gotta agree with that, I usually have one about every month or so. Grab it when I'm leaving the gym cause I am in a rush to get some place and I know I would get anything good to eat for a couple of hours.

But I wouldn't make it part of my regular diet.

Strider: I downed one of these drinks after my morning workout yesterday. It did NOT settle well and pretty much killed my appetite for about five hours. My stomach got upset just after I posted this yesterday. You ever have that problem with this drink? Maybe I shouldn't drink it on an empty stomach. Just wondering.

I haven't had that pre-mixed drink but I tried the powder packets of the exact same name. Not 10 minutes later I shiit out the shake, a lung, some lost jewelry and the kitchen sink!!

    Avoid that brand!
