To gain 5 1- 10 lbs and tone, the only way to do this is if you where to gain 5 - 10 lbs of muscle, can you do that with supplements in 3 months. No Way. With Steriods you could, but I can't help you there.

What are your current stats. Height, weight, age, meals, work out routine.

As I have said before, there is really is no magic (legal) pill.

I agree with Strider, it takes quite a long time to gain muscle without some extra goodies from what I hear. Now, creatine has been known to make muscles retain more water and that would increase some poundage depending on the state of your muscle today. Other than that ???

I've been a steady creatine user for a few years. Creatine will make you retain a bit of water. It's main purpose is to help you pump out another two or three reps that you normally would have a real hard time doing (by helping muscle stamina). If you want to put on muscle, hit the weights and buy some protein powder. How long it will take to add 10lbs of muscle depends on a number of things: Your workout routine, your committment, genetics, to name a few. Stick to your routine and you WILL see results.

I would not say forget supps altogether. I believe in taking the following:

    Multi-Vitamin
    Vitamin C
    B Complex
    L Glutamine
    Creatine

I also eat protein bars and use whey protein powder.

    soccarstar 67,
For the most part protein powder is protein powder, the trick is to get the most bang for the buck. I shop online at www.proteinfactory.com. Everything comes in bulk(you buy it by the pound) and you can buy plain whey protein that taste great or a mixture of different kinds of protein that doesn't taste so great. Prices range from around 5 bucks a pound to 10. Compare that to what you are going to pay off the shelf.
I have bought around 30 to 40 pounds and always have been very happy with there product. If it were me and since your just starting I would get something that tatse good.

If you're in your mid-20s or younger, choking down the protein and lifting heavy then gaining 10 pounds in 3 months would be a no-brainer....

If you're older than that you might need prohormones.

I don't really think that 10 pound in 3 months is very realistic, but with good quality training and plenty of protein should some weight.

    That's less than a pound a week...

    Question

Are we talking about losing a pound per week, or gaining a pound per week?

Gaining a pound of muscle per week, (beginner's excluded!), would be impossible unless you're taking steroids.

Losing a pound of fat per week is attainable with proper diet & exercise.

cmon be realistic. it is possible for BEGINNERS. if he wasnt a beginner he wouldnt be askin questions like "what powders should i take to get big" soccer i gained damn near 20 lbs in a month and its mostly cuz im somewhat of a beginner. here's what i did. its called the 10 week size surge. it includes a great diet and high intensity program. resluts are almost guaranteed if you stick to BOTH the diet and workout. here's the site. please read it all before u go and workout. http://www.surviveall.net/ten_week_s...ge_booklet.htm

5-10 lbs in 3 months is no prob pal. Just eat like a horse. Eat tons of protein. Creatine is cool, but you prolly don't need it.
