wanted some advice regarding protein from customizer.com
what would be a good balance of proteins to mix ? i was going to do CFM Whey Isolate 80 % Hydro Whey Ultra 20 %.
what does everyone think of this formula, should i change it up somehow or leave it they wait it is ?
also, how long can 4 pounds keep in the fridge ? because this protein doesnt have any chemicals to keep it fresh like the store bought ones, im wondering what the shelf life is on it.

What is your intended use for this protein?
For post-workout I am rather fond of a 50% CFM / 50% Hydro Whey mix.

I have had no shelf-life issues (taste. smell. consistency, etc.) with leaving it at room temperature for several months at a time. I just dump it out of the bag and into an empty tub from another protein powder (like Optimum Whey); and keep the cover on, of course.
You have to remember to add in % for sweetner! All this is unsweetned and taste like crap!

ok cool,
so this is what i got, 50% CFM /50% Hydro Whey for post-workout..
and 50 %CFM 50% Miccerlar Cassein pre-workout (throughout day and before bed) .
i think this pretty perfect.
im not adding any sweeteners because i like to add honey, bananas and berries, which comes out very sweet for me.
You are forgetting egg and milk. They also have their place.

so should i do 100 % CFM pre workout /throughout day and before bed, instead of 50/50 with cfm/cassein ??
In place of the Micellar Casein, consider Milk Protein Isolate instead. Micellar is very good, but is also very expensive.
Milk Protein Isolate is really a mix of ~20% whey and ~80% casien, with the casein portion being the same high quality as the micellar, at a much cheaper cost. It may be the best overall protein for the price.

Course, I don't have a nifty room dedicated to supplement storage...
the reason i asked about the micellar cassein is because of an article i read today i beilieve in ironman magazine about whey and cassein. it said that taking whey throughout the day is a mistake, it should only be taken post workout. for all the other times, micellar cassein or atleat 50/50 cassein and whey should be consumed. because it brakes down much slower and has a steady slow supply of protein for the body, instead of whey, which burns up quick leaving the body in a catabolic state. where its actually tearing down muscle instead of building. using my own logic, i think this makes much sense. so im going to start using cassein and whey mixture throughout the day and night, and 100% whey isolate for post-workout . !!!!!!

The scoop wont do you any good, yes a measuring cup. I have had protein with 70cc scoops and 90cc, and 68cc blah blah blah, its going to depend on the formula.
I only have a proteinfactory sheet and pretty much I was using either 1/3 or 1/2 cup measurements. Sometimes I would get the sheet sometimes I would not, but the website DOES say - so I would hope ProteinCustomizer is the same, check the site yet?
yea i checked, and it doesnt give explicit instructions. but it does say like 100 g of this particular protein contains this amount of protein/lactose/fat etc..............so i guess im going to buy an electric scale and measure out like 100g each time i make a shake. i cant think of any other ways....
Basically, a scoop from any protein (not an MRP like muscle milk)will do. Yes, they come in different sizes, butif its a pure whey, it'll will be very close to the same.
