Baboon taking the SWOLE

I started taking SwoleV.2 yesterday. I had taken it last week, but came down with a cold and stopped using it for a few days. I started fresh again yesterday morning. It'll be very interesting to see how tomorrow's back/bicep workout goes. No workout this morning on account of a HARD four hour mountain bike ride yesterday.

My initial impression of the Swole is very good though. It tastes VERY good and mixes well with my protein shakes. I have tried it mixed into a shake and I tried it by itself. Either way, it is very easy to drink down. It tastes like Tang. So far it has digested very well too, something I was initially concerned about as I am with any new supplement I try.

I will keep my Swole experience updated in this thread.

THanks dg806 and gopro for your feedback via PM's.

I know it's going to help your endurance on your bike rides!

Creatine enhances recovery and performance by restoring Adenosine Triphosphate stores in the muscle. Swole has Dimethylglycine added for its intense ability to improve oxygen utilization, and maintain high energy levels. Also it has Glucuronolactone which is one of the best endurance and energy-producing compounds. I'd give it a week to two weeks to get fully saturated in your muscles. (Better go get you a jug MBC!)

Do you think a product like this would be useful for my road race in three weeks? Anything that will help my stamina would be awesome. However, due to the dehydrating effects of some of these products I'd be afraid of cramping early...any thoughts?

I think my body has gotten used to creatine. When I was taking it last year, I cramped like hell on my bikes rides. I started taking regular creatine again in late 2002 and have not stopped since. I rarely get cramps now and I have been both MTB'ing and road riding several times a week this summer.

If your taking swole v2, can your workouts be longer than too or still 45-1hr?

I would keep them about the same length, but it can be more intense.

My goal is to lift more and increase my muscle size. That does not involve prolonging my workouts. My reps and sets will remain the same, it's the weight I want to increase.

I checked the price online and it's not bad...can someone let me know how long a container would last? There weren't serving sizes in the description.

I know that if you take stuff like Cell-Tech twice a day one container lasts like two weeks...trying to avoid the financial burden of improvement as much as possible.

60 servings per container. 2 servings/day, 12 hours apart would last 30 days.

Either I had a really good workout this morning, or it only takes two days for the Swole to start working. I increased the number of chinups I do by three (that is a lot). I also used more weight on three other exercises, but did the same number of reps as my last workout. I'm thinking maybe the Swole is working quickly because I had been taking regular creatine until I made the change to Swole, so it's not like I am starting from scratch as far as creatine muscle saturation goes.

This morning I worked chest and triceps. I was able to pump out one or two more reps in most of the sets I did, compared to my last chest/triceps workout. I have not added more weight yet because I wanted to see if the weight I was using had gotten any "easier" since taking Swole. Rest assured, I will be adding weight next time I work these two muscle groups. I am very psyched about this! The Swole must be helping because it is the only variable that has changed in my workouts in the last couple of weeks.

Another excellent back/biceps workout this morning. I bumped the weight up a bit on my back exercises and still got out the same number of reps. SWEET! Also, since I have started taking Swole, I have been on a total of six mountain bike and road bike rides. There is not doubt in my mind that Swole is helping with endurance and energy.

I am pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical that Swole would help with cycling endurance, but it really seems to be helping.

BTW, I have been taking Swole as recommended on the label: One scoop, twice a day, with food. I add one scoop to my morning protein shake, and I drink down another scoop immediatey after dinner. They are usually 10-11 hours apart, instead of the recommended 12. But hey, close enough, right?

I spent 4.5 hours last Saturday biking up and down a mountain in California, and the Swole HAD to have helped. I did much, much better than I had expected. I did not take any Swole last week because I was in CA on business and forgot to pack it. I went for a road ride yesterday, and it took me longer than usual and I averaged less MPH than normal. I've got to think not taking the Swole for a week hurt those numbers.

I'm still on the Swole and I am loving it. I think this will be my permanent replacement for regular creatine.
