    Post Help with protein

I was looking into taking a protein supplement, however I am lactose intolerant. I have read that Whey protein is the best to take, but comes from milk and cheese and is not good for people with dairy allergies. Any suggestions? Also, if i do take a supplement, most people mix it with milk, what else is good to mix it with?

    Thanks, Eric

I think that most whey proteins are very low in lactose. They are the best, and you can mix them with water (it usually just doesn't taste as good).

Albumen (egg white) is another very high quality protein source and can be purchased in powder form in bulk, like whey.
