Will Ephedra be Banned? Check this out...whoring allowed

By Joe Muscle . Com

Will Ephedrine Diet Pills be Banned?
Will this very effective ingredient that is found in popular diet pills be banned? Many large manufactures think it will be. That is why they are changing their formulation to ephedrine free versions. This change may be safer for the small population of people that have health problems. But for the large majority of people that have had much success with ECA (Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) stack fat burners this comes as a big disappointment.

We suggest you stock up on your favorite ephedrine based fat burner before they are gone forever.

For residents in the State of Illinois it is to late. Your state has banned the shipment of any product that contains ephedrine.

ATTENTION: The proposed ban on Ephedrine in the State of New York is scheduled to take effect October 27, 2003.

Ephedrine and Synephrine Explained
There are two types of fat burners available today – ephedrine based and ephedra free. With all the press on ephedrine and the possible negative side effects associated with it, which product is going to be the best for you? Will you get the same results with the Ephedra free version? What’s in the ephedra free version anyway – is it safe? Synephrine, ephedrine’s "kissing cousin" is becoming a very popular replacement to ephedra, but will it work for you? Keeping reading to find out what both do exactly and which one will produce the results that you desire.

Ephedrine, also known as Ma Huang is derived from several species of plants from the genus ephedra. It works both directly and indirectly by stimulating sympathetic nerves. After ingesting the herb, it’s metabolized into norephedrine. In short, it stimulates the nervous system. When combined with caffeine and aspirin, it has been shown to stimulate fat loss, increase thermogenesis, increase energy endurance, and improve mental clarity.

While ephedrine has a lot of positive effects, it has its share of negative ones as well. The feelings or conditions of nervousness, anxiety, tremors, and high blood pressure have all been linked to the use of the herb. Caution should always be exercised when supplementing with ephedrine. If you have high blood pressure, heart conditions, or depression you should not be taking it. A physician should always be consulted before supplementing – he/she will be able to spot any adverse effects that may occur. If you‘re a healthy individual and follow the manufacturer’s directions exactly you can enjoy the positive effects of ephedrine while experiencing little risk.

Synephrine is the "active" compound found in the fruit plant called Citrus Auranbium. It is chemically similar to ephedrine and pseudo-ephedrine based products. In theory, synephrine increases the metabolic rate, augments calorie expenditure, improves energy and speeds up fat loss. It has been shown to reduce appetite while increasing feeling of energy. Synephrine works by stimulating specific adrenal receptors rather than all of them like its cousin, ephedrine. It is said to produce all the positive effects associated with ephedrine while avoiding all of the negative ones.

With the government and other agencies doing their best to take Ephedrine off the shelves it’s going to leave little it terms or choice for the everyday consumer. Expect to see more Synephrine in the near future replacing ephedra in your favorite fat burner.

Hopefully it'll get banned.

it's not just the banning that is the problem most companies are switching to ephedra free versions of their supplements because the insurance rates on ephedra are too high because of the lawsuits from the death of some athletes (that should have never been blamed on ephedra).

Ephedra should not be banned...stupid people should be! Who is a stupid person?

-one that takes more than the recommended dosage
-one that uses ephedra and has high blood pressure to begin with
-one that uses ephedra and works out outside in 90 degree +
temperatures
-one that takes other compounds that interact with ephedra

Can we put all stupid people on an uninhabited island and let them just deal with eachother please!?

Wish we could. Ban it, don't ban it, I don't care. I don't use the stuff so either way makes no difference to me.

I agree GP. I don't see how people can Sue the companies. It clearly states what can go wrong. If someone chooses to take that risk, and something bad happens, I feel for them, but, on the other hand they shouldn't be taking it to begin with. Along with the other, blah blah blah. b/s.

What I think is ridiculous is the fact that they want to pass a bill that bans certain supplements, and things like ephedra, but cigarette smoking (which not only harms yourself, but others around you, and has NO positive effects) and alcohol (basically the same deal, only these types of deaths usually occur in drunk driving, and young people trying to be cool), but they wont touch either one of those substances...... but something like a prohorome or ephedra, which comes with a warning and doesnt hurt anyone, except the person who takes it (and it wont hurt them unless they misuse it), they want to ban it?

We have so much freedom, we dont know what to do with everything. What an idiotic society.
