This question is directed more towards GP, TP, and DG. I was asked this by someone and really did not know the answer. Why are prohormone cycles so much shorter than with AAS. I have never really thought about this. I have done 2 AAS cycles which lasted 8 and 10 weeks. I had no problems coming off. My longest ph cycle to date is just over six weeks. Would the benefits from prohormones stall after about the six week point or what? My thought is maybe the side-to-benefit ratio may become a factor. I find it hard to belive that prohormones are more suppressive than AAS.
That is a good question. I think receptors will get saturated after 6 weeks of use and would require a higher dosage to see any affect. With the availability weather oral or transdermal being low compared to AA's, you may not see any improvment over a certain point. Also the half life of AAS's are weeks compared to PH's hours. So it takes a lot longer for AAS's to get into the blood.
As far as suppresive, you just see it quicker in PH's because of the half life. But AAS's are stronger.

This will not hold true to the new methyl 1-test out.

Steroid cycles should be shorter too. And remember with proHORMONES that there are enzymes needed for conversion that are probably "shot" after several weeks. And as dg said, with proSTEROIDS you would have to keep knocking doses up higher to get a supraphysiological effect, and this would make side effects outweight benefits.
Also, those that take OTC hormones tend to either only have access to or choose to take OTC anti-e's/test boosters, while steroid users will take much more powerful drugs to realize hormonal homeostasis.
One more thing. Those that choose PH/PS are generally of a more "safe" mindset than steroid users (just by the fact that they use OTC androgens rather than prescirption ones) and therefore, this carries over to cycle length safety issues.

I seriously doubt you will need anything more than the m1-t. I hear 20mg/day is bringing muscle faster than your body can handle. On par or exceeding d-bol.

Well keep in mind that have done 2 AAS cycles and 6 ph cycles. One of my AAS cycles was 750mg T-enanthate per week. Muscle no longer comes easy for me. On my last two cycles I have only gained 3 and 7 pounds.

Well, we could go with 4-test (4-AD) and go for some testosterone conversion and perhaps more size, but also some more downregulation of your endocrine function...or we can go with 4-HT for more hardness and possible evening out of your endocrine function, which may in the end lead to better gains.
But the 4-Test you already have...hmmmmmm. Well, I'd go 4-HT, but you must decide for yourself given the circumstances.

Are you sure you're giving your body enough time for your receptors to recoup?

It has been 3 years since the AAS cycles and I had several months between my last two ph cycles so I would think so. I never expect huge weight gains b/c I do not bulk. I do my best to stay under 10%
Also depends on how good your post cycle was and how quickly you returned your system to normal.

from what ive gathered from this board ppl generally say that d-bol is well, not useless but not very effective because its mostly a gain in water mass...
But my friend is a big juicer and he said his cycle of d-bol was the best one hes ever done and that he kept a lot of his gains.....
any comments?
edit: are you saying the m1-t.... is legal to buy in stores and is ON PAR with d-bol?!?!
D-bol is alot of water gain, but you do get stronger from it. I just think from what I know, it is hard to keep those gains by itself. It is best stacked with another steriod. And from what I've read of users logs about methyl 1-test, some have used d-bol before and they say for strength, it is as good or better than d-bol. M1-test is legal to buy right now. The manufacturer may actually voluntarily pull this as it is definately in a gray area!

I think methyl 1-test will quite possibly rival most illegal steroids in terms of lean muscle. I would always choose 1-test over d-bol anyway and it is now even better. Man, I am excited.
