I'm new to this board, so greetings to everyone here. I was wondering what you people do here for a post workout meal. Personally, I've been eating fat free egg whites with fat free cheese ASAP after I get through with my morning lifting session. However, I want to make sure that I'm getting the most out of my body, and I realize that I need to include some carbohydrates as well. So about an hour after that, I'll eat, for example, an apple and some yogurt.
Like I said, though, I was wondering what you people use/reccommend. I just got a tub of Biotest Surge and plan on using that as a post workout meal, at least, for a little while. Has anyone used this one, and did you like the results with it? What other post workout meals do you typically recommend for best anti-catabolic effects? I don't like to wash my money down the drain on supplements, as I don't have a lot for them. (for 20-30$ a tub, and only 10 servings... I don't think the surge is gonna work out so well...) Any ideas on alternatives here?
