    Cool creatine burning

Sorry to hear of your situation.

I've been taking creatine for about a year now with no serious noticeable problems. I have noticed some strength gains and seem to gain noticeable results while taking Creatine. The only side affects I have experienced is frequent urination. I get up like 4-5 times a night and have to urinate. Other than that I sometimes feel dehydrated and just make sure I have water by my bedside at night. This is probably from not drinking enough water. They say you should drink like six 8oz glasses of water a day. Now I am following a 3 week on and 1 week off plan. I don't load up either, I just take 5 grames 30 minutes before working out, and then 5 grams after the workout....Total 10 grams a day. I think with creatine it is important not to take to much, and make sure you incorporate an off cycle to allow your body to refresh and give it a clean out period. This in my opinion helps regenerate your kidneys since I believe taking creatine does put a slight load on the kidneys. I myself no longer drink. I quit 2 years ago. I think if I was a heavy drinker, I would not use creatine.

I wish you the best of health.

Please keep me posted. What are your doctors opinion of creatine?
