    Favorite MRP's

Hey, which mrp's have you all tried and would suggest?

im just finishing off a box of cytoplex. it was ok tasting, but i thought overall the nutritional facts were solid and it was a good product.

the reason i ask is b/c im a college student who a) is on the run a lot and b) has to deal w/ the awful cafeteria food, its hard to keep much of a diet with the shit they feed you.

    thanks alot for any comments/suggestions!

I am a big believer in MRP's. I think they are the most important supplement out there.

There are two that I think are the best:

Prolab lean mass matrix - cinnamon oatmeal flavor is awesome

VPX Micellean - not the best tasting, not the worst.

These 2 are great formula's because they have superior protein blends and the carb content is from whole grains, most mrp's use maltodextrin. They also contain fiber and essential fats.

MRP's are a great investment, if I had to pick one supplement that would be it.

Bars have alot of crap in them.

They use crappy carb sources, they use lots of glycerin and saturated fat. They also don't contain fiber.

What do you think about the MRP's put out by EAS, NG?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

The new formula Myoplex is great, I forgot that one earlier, it also has whole grain carbs, EFA's and fiber.

    -Musclelink Muscle Meals
    -Met RX Pro 60
    -Champion Ultramet (mostly for taste)

Best MRP is Real Meals by Healthy N' Fit ... Quality ingredients and NO artificial sweeteners or sugar, they use Stevia, an expensive herb. And it tastes great.

A cheap alternative is Protoplex, its about $1 a pack. It is basically Myoplex but tastes better.

Twinlab's Nitrate fuel seems to have a good nutritional profile. The taste is okay, not the best. Cytoplex, Vanilla is the worst tasting.

Myoplex Deluxe is pretty good. Vanilla is my favorite (throw in some strwaberries and a banana).

    Even plain it is good

Have tried Micellean but it is grainy (taste is OK)
