i am new to the forums and have some questions about protein and creatine

i am new to the forums. i have been lifting about three weeks now doing heavy weights and am starting to slowly see results. i have been thinking about using creatine and protein to put on some more muscle. my questions are when are the best times to take these. i am eating low carbs to cut some extra weight off will i still lose extra weight but still put on muscle using creatine. i have read to take all my creatine during and right after workouts so muscles will use it best is this true. what type of protein and creatine is good for a person on a small college budge. are there any others sups u recommend to stack on more muscle.

    thanks

sorry for the lengthy post but any answeres are appreciated

Well you should definitely do a search, which will cover your questions in much more detail then I have time to, but heres the deal.

Protein, your best bet is Whey. Its the higherst biological value, and quickest absorbed. I would recommend taking it with water directly after your workout. Then maybe with milk any other time of the day, because milk helps slow absorbtion, and contains a much slower protein than whey (casein). But were gonna keep it basic for now. www.massnutrition.com . You can get a 10lb whey tub for about 45 bucks, and that should last you anywhere from a month to more.

As far as creatine. Creatine should be taken with juice directly after your workout. The first week you use creatine, you CAN load it, which means saturate your muscles to the point which they can really hold anymore, but you dont have too. If you do decide to load the first week, 3 to 4 times a day, take 5 g of creatine. After the first week, its just 5 grams directly after a workout.

    Any other questions, lemme know.

the information is absolutely rite! Taking some simple sugar like those from fruits will help you spike your insulin level which will force your muscle to take in those valuable creatine and protein to initiate growth and recovery! Try 100% optimum whey - they are cheap and effective and great amino profile.
