It gave me NO energy what so ever...which is one thing I look for in a thermogenic......

    Did NOT suppress my appetite......and.......

I felt it was more like a laxative more than anything.

    Thanks for the info.

I have tried a few of these and I have been very apprehensive about buying Hot Rox.

More research to be done for certain.

40mg of caffeine... You wanted energy on that? You should probably read the ingredients. The idea behind Hot Rox is that it raises your core body temperature. Just because something is "Thermogenic" does not mean it gives you energy. If you want energy without ephedra you have a choice between caffeine (a decent amount), bitter orange (synephrine, ephedra's weaker cousin), ginseng, or a B-Complex. Anything else just isnt gonna do it. Biotest will be the first to say they didnt add any stimulants to Hot Rox. I work at GNC, you probably got sold Hot Rox back when it had a $4PM (commission). 90% of the guys working there know nothin but commissions. Do your own research unless the person you're talking to is qualified (in my case a certified sports nutritionist and trainer, certificates in the store if someone needs proof). I went to a GNC at the mall here and the ignorant girl there tried to sell me on the difference between "creatine monohydrate" and "sugar loaded creatine" They probably gave you a "free goldcard" too. Hot Rox will not give you energy because it wasn't designed to. As far as a fat burner, very effective. After about a week on the full dosage you will turn the heat down to 65, you will sweat walking around and the fat will come off. But for less $$$, try a good diet.

lol xjsman..i work at GNC too and you are so right about that shit....although I work at a franchise store and we didnt get any commision on hotraox...bastards!

true that thermogenics dont need to give you energy...it just happens that most of the old thermogenics were ECA based so they jacked you up...motivation in a bottle!

caffeine is fairly thermogenic as is yohimbe...buy walmart's brand of vivarin (called stay awake...200mg caffeine....40 pills...$2.50)
and order yohimbine HCl from bulknutrition.com...that is the combo i am using now and it is working well

(ephedra is still the best...hopefully it will be legal again one day soon)

L-carnitine and pyruvate are helpful as well if taken in the right amounts but they wont give you any energy and they get expensive.
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us.

Once you go ephedra, you never go back.

Yup, the gov't sux, they're takin away the most effective muscle building supp ever for me. How so? Sometimes I have to lift at 11:00 PM and I just don't think I could do it without help. Even when I'm liftin at a reasonable hour the ephedra always helps me get turbo workouts. (I've heard it's also effective for fat loss )
