Sometimes you just feel tired, u feel weak
And when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up
But you gotta search within you, try to find that inner strength
and just pull that shit out of you
And get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter
No matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face, and collapse..

post workout is the most important time, as it will be absorbed the best. but extra glutamine anytime throughout the day will be a nice "bonus", esp. at night.........

well, being the dumb newb I am... I took 10 grams of AST L-Glutamine for the first time about 30 mins before i worked out... I did have a very good workout tonight, although, I think that's mainly due to my bulging muscles... however, I think the glut helps you more with avoiding the catabolic effects of weight lifting than actual performance increase...

I read that the serious guys take about 20 grams throughout the day to ensure they don't lose any muslce mass and I believe it also helps with protein synthesis....

So to answer your question, i would say in the morning, before a workout, and possibly before bed, although, I think most would say ZMA might be a better alternative to take before bed as an anti-catabolic supplement... it also aids with better quality sleep...
    Are you kidding me????

If you are using L-glutamine, you must take it on an empty stomach or absorbtion will be compromised! Take it at least 60 minutes after a meal and at least 30 minutes before a meal. Glutamine can be used anytime of day, but your most productive times are first thing in the morning, pre-workout, post-workout, and before bed.

I take glutamine in the morning with Swole and a protein blend. is this ok? i then take it postworkout with whey. should i be taking glutamine 4 times a day during the times you indicated? also, any specific time I should be taking the swole? it says 2 times a day 8-12 hrs apart so I just follow that. also, i only have one whey shake a day (post-workout). Is this ok? sorry for all questions. I guess this would be easier...I'm taking a protein blend and whey, swole and glutamine...wat should be my schedule with these? thanks gopro!
