I know this is not an answer to your question, but you can get cut on a proper diet, "weight loss" supps are not needed.

Naturally, if you diet, you're going to lose weight. HOWEVER, there is NO magic pill people can take that will descrease their weight with out proper diet and exercise. Weight loss "stuff" as you call it, is there for the extra boost. Whether or not it has ephedra in it. There are certain chemicals in the capsuls that trigger certain receptors in your body, that diet and nutrition cannot touch all that much.

IMO, people who strickly rely on "diet pills" to cut the weight for them with out diet and or exercise, are a failure from the beginning and the end. They will never be satisfied. People like this are considered lazy and looking for the easy way out. The only "easy" way out is plastic surgery or gastric bypass.

Hold -- You will truly LOVE those supplements. You ought to try SwoleV.2. I have to post the reactions to this in my journal. I have notice though within the first couple days taking it, my muscles are WAY fuller......I'm hoping the strength will come next week. We'll see. So far so good.

My theory? It's not a theory it's a fact, you can get ripped without any type of "fat loss supp", whether it be ephedra, caffiene, etc.

I will be posting an article by Tom Venuto next month, he currently gets to 3-4% bf naturally, NO fat loss supps, however he used to be addicted to them and he talks about this in the article.

Okay. I'm interested in reading it. I'm just trying to think of the science involved chemically in the body.

Question: What if say, you're at your peak. You cannot fit more than 6 meals in per day. Your body has adjusted to what type of training and exerising you're doing. You've tried mixing it up (diet, cardio & weight training) and the Cardio routine in the AM to get your metabolism up. Say it's JUST NOT WORKING ANYMORE..........In order to fuller speed up your metabolism, you'd need a supplement. Right? Therefore, if you want to get a person where they want or as ripped and the diet and exercising isnt' quite what it was.....what's the alternative?

I am also interested in checking it out...

It seems hard to believe that there such a thing as a perfect diet... seems like there's always room to improve somewhere... exercise wise, there are so many different theories and systems you could spend a lifetime trying them all out...

However, I supplement because I don't have the MEANS to have the perfect diet and exercise routine, there is a such thing as REAL LIFE... and real life dictates your exercise and diet take a back seat to the people you love and the job that supports them, does that mean I dont' have the right to look ripped? hell no, I responsibly supplement to have the best of both worlds...

    Are supplements necessary? no...

Do they allow the average Joe to exceed his everyday life limitations? If done correctly... YES!
    Are you kidding me????

Well, we all have genetic limitations, but I believe you can get ripped without the use of weightloss supps.

It's not working anymore? Change your approach, everyone is different. Maybe you need to increase protein, or decrease carbs, or even increase carbs, or do less cardio, "reset" your metabolism. This will obviously take serious tweaking and trial/error with each individual, none the less it's possible.
