I have a protein shake for breakfast every morning, whether or work out or not. The 50g protein and loads of vitamins are a great way to start the day.

I use a couple: Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex (vanilla) on workout days (for the glutamine and vitamins). Syntrax Nectar (any flavor, they are all excellent) on non-workout days (less calories).

It's for fat in his diet. If you are completely skipp9ing breakfast, I suggest you take an MRP rather than just any protein shake.

Fat, calories overall, and a little slow down of protein metabolism. Like BO said you dont want to take raw protein by itself as at least some will get wasted (utilized for energy).

would this be a good source to use: Micellean Bioactive Superfood? Only thing I see wrong is that fact that there is only 276 calories.

I have one carton of EggBeaters (egg whites/24 grams of protein), plus one whole egg, and scramble in olive oil. I also have 2 servings Quaker Oats, and fish oil supps. This is good for 40 total grams of protein. If you want more, a 12 oz glass of skim milk would add another 12 grams. 50 grams is about the max protein you should have at one meal.

    Yum breakfast

I usually start with a shake, oatmeal, an apple/orange and oil as well.

Mudge is right, the oil is an easy way to get your intake up and if you select properly (and that means NOT butter) it can have a nutritional advantage as well.
