    Question cardio while on 1-AD

cardio is part of my routine to stay lean i don't like it but i need it stay lean. i been on 1-AD for couple weeks gained some good weight i was wondering though if i had cardio in my routine would this hinder my gains. cut it back from 5 days a week 40 minutes a session to 3 times a week 30 minutes a session. My calories i increased from around 2300 to about 3000 cals 330 from protein 235 from carbs. i just basically want muscle gains with least amount of fat as possible. should i just cut cardio out completely cause the 1-AD will give me the good lean gains i am looking for? when i started i was 5'10 170 2 weeks in i am 5'10 178. if that helps at all.

you need to decide if you want to get lean or gain mass, it's very difficult to do both simultaneously.

on a PH cycle you should be eating more and training harder, and probably drop the cardio if you're trying to gain mass.

Personally I drop cardio when I'm taking a PH.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

Sounds to me JMR that you're on the right track. You've increased calories for the cycle, I assume your working out hard, and you cut back on cardio. Personally I would cut back even more, like maybe only 20 minute sessions. On my 1-AD cycle I was able to increase mass, and cut fat by going with maintainence calories and doing moderate cardio. My cardio consisted of an elliptical glider twice a week for 20 minutes, and walking a brisk 2 miles twice a week.
