fish oil and flax seed oil are classified as fatty acids, these help to burn fat, and increase skin tone.

Ironic how if you want to burn fat you have to eat fat

Babsie, Fish oil and flax are fatty acids, however they do not help burn fat.
EFA;s are important becuase your body cannot produce them. The fatty acids do not burn fat, they give the cells nutrients needed for a variety of important things like normal growth and functioning of the cells, muscles, nerves, and organs.

As for a "safe" fatburner, there is no such thing. Every product will affect everyone differently and there is almost always a risk involved.

CLA has already been tested to be bogus for fat loss, in a lab setting of course.

I just heard a report that says just the opposite of what you say. Not arguing with you really, but I do disagree.

To be a little more specific, it was one of XM Satellite Radio's Health bits and the basic point was that a recent study concluded that CLA does aid in fat loss. I have been meaning to try to find that study, but haven't yet.

A review published in this month’s Journal of Nutrition supports conjugated linoleic acid’s action on weight management, concluding that it is at least in part due to regulation of glucose and fatty acid uptake and metabolism.

Diabetics who added an essential fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) to their diets had lower body mass as well as lower blood sugar levels by the end of the eight-week study. Hyperglycemia, or high blood sugar, is a hallmark of diabetes.

Researchers also found that higher levels of this fatty acid in the bloodstream meant lower levels of leptin, a hormone thought to regulate fat levels. Scientists think that high leptin levels may play a role in obesity, one of the biggest risk factors for adult-onset diabetes.

Now I feel the need to find that damn thing, I didn't save it in my email unfortunately. Like I always say though, one study refutes another so what can you do.

If you can find it, I'd like to see it. Most of the stuff above deals with obese people or diabetics, so for someone trying to get down to single digit bf%, it may be ineffective.

I am somewhere in between, so I take it.
