Dont know much bout this, but my mom got one a few years ago... it helpt somewhat... But nowadays they are banned here in Sweden, deemed "inhuman". The amount it helps doesnt make up the pain when taking the shot. Or so they say.
Hey, I couldn't figure which thread to post this in. I've got killer tendonitis up my forarms and in my elbows. Really been affecting my lifting. One of the Ortho docs I work with offered to give me cortisol shots in my arms to help. What does everyone think about that?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

Cortisone, sorry man thanks for the correction. Yeah I know there are risks, that's why I need to figure if it is worth it or not. Right now I have constant pain in my arms and it affects my training of course. Been this way since High school.Originally posted by vanity
I think you mean cortisone.
Cortisone will help but know that there are risks.
