Yes, but if it is plain creatine you may want something high glycemic such as grape juice or dextrose to spike insulin levels.

    Which creatine are you taking?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

You can spike the insulin levels however if you have plain tasting Creatine......you may find it helpful to spoon it up, dump it in your mouth, throw some water in there, gargle it and SWALLOW. Then drink your 16oz of water, or juice.

Statistics say mixing your creatine with warm water helps dissolve your creatine and makes for quicker response time. Don't know how much truth there is to that.

    Did you get the SwoleV.2?

another thing to remember is not to let creatine sit out too long in a liquid because it will become unstable and turn into creanin which is a waste product and will help you in no way, but this is only if you leave it out for over an hour or so

Babs, i thought your supposed to let it dissolve in water and then drink it. if you just gargle it a lot of it won't dissolve.

Titans...SwoleV.2 Dissolves pretty quickly unlike majority of your creatine supplements. SwoleV.2 doesn't settle at the bottom of your bottle. I know many people who take it the same way. I'm just consuming it much faster vs. letting it sit out. There are times I don't have a lot of time to play with and to avoid NOT taking it, that's how I do it. Most of the creatine I've taken were plain. The SwoleV.2 I've switched to is flavored and tastes excellant. Like Orange Gater. I mix it up and drink it BUT if I don't have a lot of time on my hands (because I attend a lot of mtgs) I scoop, gargle and I'm moving on.

Ps. You will not catch me dead enjoying the taste of Glutamine. I take that the same way as creatine. Scoop...gargle.....down it.

yeah, i hate the taste of glutamine. when do you take swole? i know your supposed to take it 8-12 hours apart but with regular creatine you take it 45 min before and right after you workout.

I take mine at 12noon or 1pm then again at 8pm

I'm trying a little experiment with it though. An hours game. I noticed a difference and I want to see if it was the time I took Swole or if it was the water increase. Keep a look out in my thread, which is where I post a lot of my results. My guess is it was the time study.
