    Isopure Protein Shake

Is this a good product? One of my friends in using it, he says it is really good. I am looking for a second opinion. Are there any better products?

I am 15 years old. 6'1". 160lbs. very little body fat.
    What more can I say?

Yeah, it is okay...I personally don't like the taste. It is really good if you are lactose intolerant because it only contains the whey isolates (hence the name).

My favorite whey protien is EAS percision protein, but it is kind of expensive (about $32 for 2.5lbs). I also like Optimum nutirtion whey protein, it is a little more cost effective (about $32 for 5lbs). I also like prolab's lean mass matrix MRP, oatmeal raisen is my favorite flavor.

I can tolerate something that doesn't taste great. I will do almost anything for results.

That Cin/Oatmeal shake P-funk mentioned is outstanding. By far the best tasting shake I have had. I also use Pro Complex by Optimum, it is the lowest in sugar.

(the down side of the Cin/Oat shake is 5 grams of sugar. Not too bad, but I try to limit them to breakfast)

I personally did not like the Isopure shakes.

Thanks for the help. Also, where do you buy your supplies? Someone told me about vitaminshoppe.com but I was also wondering where others bought their stuff.

For about a year now, I have purchased from Netritrion.com. I have been very happy with them. I did just notice that MassNutrition.com has many of the items I buy for less. I may give them a try.

People here rave about 1fast400.com also.

That's a good point. No shake is too bad to get down, just shot-gun it and be done with it.

Protein drinks aren't milk shakes y'know. Just think of them as muscle fertilizer.
