Loading with creatine?
When taking creatine, do i really need to 'load' or can i just take it normally before my workout? and how long before my workout should i be taking my creatine? Thanks for the advice.

From what Ive read here the answer is no. I do feel alittle bulkier when I start a new cycle of creatine and load, but that might just be me. I figure it cant hurt to do it, and it aint like Im blowin alot of cash by doin it. Just pound the water though.

Hey,
I would say don't bother loading, obviously it's going to increase the amount you have in your body and you'll store more ATP but even having small amounts will help, and lower the risk of getting it building up in your body AND wasting alot of it. I could be wrong, but i don't bother loading it is encouraging it being wasted, and possible kidney problems (IF you're taking too much anyway). Eitherway it's up to you, but skipping loading just means you havn't got as much in your body as you could have which isn't that much of a bad thing in my opinion. |
