From what I have read, phosphatidylserine is the only thin that has been shown to block an exercise induced cortisol spike in clinical studies. You have to take a buttload of it, though.
did any company ever get Cortisol blocking perfected? Dont think this has been talked about in a quite awhile, just courious.

If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Not even poweful drugs like Cytadren and clenbuterol have cortisol blocking "perfected," but as Dale said, phosphtidylserine does a decent job of it when 800-1600 mg are taken first thing in the morning and about 1 hour before training.

Complete blockage would be a bad idea anyway, as would estrogen![]()

A true statement. A total blockage of cortisol in fact would probably end up in death.Originally posted by Mudge

7Keto DHEA can help.
However, as has been said, it's not wise to lower cortisol unless you have a specific concern that you wish to address (e.g. stress, certain drugs that can elevate cortisol, and so on).
As as was mentioned, this applies to estrogen as well. There isn't an "evil" hormone. Every year a new hormone is demonized, instead of presented in the context of what's necessary for balance.
Not to see many things, not to hear many things, not to permit many things to come close - first imperative of prudence, first proof that one is no mere accident but a necessity.
