maltodextrin/Dextrose

Just wondering how many people here use dextrose or maltodextrin and what they thought about it after they used it? Thanks

I throw dextrose in water with my creatine and it taste alright. I am getting ok results.

i use dextrose in my post workout shake. I think it works quite well although it's pretty sweet and a bit sickly.

pure dextrose = glucose is the best carbsource after your workout, it gives the fastest and highest insulin spike, which helps also to get your wheyprotein and creatine into your muscle at the fastest and highest rate.

Gentlemen,
From where do you purchase your dextrose or maltodextrin ??
I've been taking my creatine with the powder form of Gatorade, but it's only part dextrose and the rest crap sugars.

i buy my glucose/dextrose from my local chemist. It costs about £1.50 for 500g.

You can pick up dextrose from any store that sells supplies for making wine and beer. It usually sells for about a dollar a pound.
