M1-T cycle results

Well more accurately, my S1+/M1-T cycle results. Just finished up a 5 week cycle. Started with S1+, a 1-test/4-ad transdermal and ran that for 3 weeks with ok results. I gained a bit under 5 lbs with some strength increase. During this time, my average diet stats as determined by www.fitday.com. 2,950 calories - 290 grams of protein. 40%P/30%C/30%F (9% saturated fat). Body fat numbers determined by combination of circumference measurements (www.mybodycomp.com), skinfold calipers, and scale.

11/17 Stats:
Weight 211 lbs, 19.5% BF
Max bench - 270 lbs

12/8 Stats. After 3 weeks with S1+ (200-300 mg 1-test per day)
Weight 212 lbs, 18% BF (gained 5 lbs LBW, lost 4 lbs fat)
Max bench - 280 lbs

Since my order of M1-t came in during this time, I decided to tack on a two week cycle of M1-t. First week I took 20 mg daily in divided doses. Within a couple of days, I could feel the effects kick in. After 3 days I felt a cold coming on, and I did in fact catch a mild cold. The much talked about lethargy didn't seem to me to be any worse then a cycle of 1-AD. On some days however, it did kick my ass. On slow days at work (I have a desk job) it was almost like torture. On weekends, I found myself napping. Sides I noticed:

- Low back discomfort. Not pain, but a mild aching sensation. I occasionally have mild sciatia, and this flared up towards the end of 1 week.

- Had a weird muscle spasm around my nose that lasted a few days. Not sure if related or not.

- Took blood pressure readings daily. Started at 127/78, increased to an average of 135/80.

Did NOT notice acne, hair loss or loss of libido. In fact libido was up. Strength seemed to increase on an almost daily basis, and setting new PBs practically every workout. Pumps are unreal. Triceps in particular got so pumped it was almost uncomfortable!

Week two I upped the dose to 30 mg. 20 mg in AM, 10 mg in PM. In the second week my strength was off the hook. For example on 12/18, maxed at 285 on bench. 12/24 was my 48th birthday and last day of cycle. I wanted to see if I could max at 295... it went up easy. Decided to slip on a couple of 2-1/2's and try 300, and it went up no problem! I'm thinking I may be able to get 305 fresh. That's a 15-20 lb increase in one week folks. Incredible.

Average diet during these two weeks: 3,175 calories - 310 grams of protein. 40%P/30%C/30%F (10% saturated fat).

End stats:

Weight: 218 lbs, 17% BF. On M1-t alone I gained an additional 7 lbs LBW, 0% fat.
Max bench - 300 lbs.

So overall, a very productive cycle. A net LBW gain of 11 lbs, fat loss of 4 lbs, and a 30 lb increase in max bench press.

One thing I'd like to say in conclusion is that there is no subsitute for proper diet and hard training. I've been weight training for over 12 years with a long lay off two years ago. During that two years I had allowed my weight to go up uncontrolled and tipped the scale at 236 lbs at approximately 28% BF. When I came back to training, I quickly regained strength, but had a hard time losing the bodyfat until I got my diet in order. And what a difference that makes! The use of PH/PS's are sort of like the icing on the proverbial cake. I highly recommend not to even consider using these substances until you have fully maxed out naturally. I for example seemed to had maxed out strength and gains wise, no surprise since at 48 my natural testosterone is at an all time low (265 ng). It makes me sick when I hear of 20 something year olds with 3 or 4 months of training under their belt, using prohormones. All icing and no base makes for a poor cake.

Congrats on your gains.I'm doing a m1-t cycle now with 4ad.I'm taking 20mg first thing in the morning. I noticed that you split your doses up.Is it better doing it that way?.

Good to hear it went well. But we need to start measuring gains by squats not damn bench press all the time.

From what I've heard, it really doesn't make much difference with M1-t. Some feel if you have severe lethargy, it may be best to take a single dose a couple of hours before bed. Others report problems with sleeplessness with M1-t. In that case a morning single dose would be best. With other prohormone cycles like 1-AD 3 divided doses are recommended, while transdermal 1-test a AM and PM is recommended to keep the levels of prohormone more constant. So I keep with that logic.

Thanks Kata...I think. As I touched upon in my post, I have some problems with sciatica. This is a irritation of the main nerve in the leg where the nerve passes thru the lumbar region. Doing heavy squats and deadlifts cause my lower back to tighten up, and numbness in my leg. Not good. Early on in my weight training I did plenty of heavy squats and deadlifts, but the problem got worse and worse. Today I only squat with no more then 225 and use high reps. Oddly, I don't have a problem doing heavy bent over rows, so I rely on those instead of the deadlift as the main stay of my back compound movements.

In Dale Mabry's M1-t log he documented squat progress.

lol I was kidding, measure your success in whatever lift you feel more comfortable with. Even more if you’re injured. But people seem to most of the time measure their success just on bench press so I just threw that in there. A nice squat or power clean is just more impressive for me than a bench press.
